Gossamer Winds was established in 2005 with the intention of makinggreat music accessible to all audiences and helping the greater Denvercommunity.
Gossamer Winds features Monika Vischer, flute; Wes Sansom, clarinet; Katie Smith, oboe; John Richardson, bassoon and Sarah Stallings, horn.
Our repertoire spans many genres including classical, Latin, standards and pop. We play both music written for woodwind quintet and arrangements of great music.
Gossamer Winds has performed around the Denver area and has partneredwith such local non-profits as:

Gossamer Winds has recently participated in the Highlands Garden CaféArtist Series and the Augustana Arts Jefferson County Chamber MusicFestival.

A piece of beautifulmusic or work of art is like a delicate yet strong gossamer thread.
Multiple strands woven together create abeautiful labyrinth on which souls might "catch" if only for a shorttime.
